Welcome reader, how is it going? Hope all is going good :D, do you want to see my first diorama with rocks and wire tree ?
In these day i’m workin hard to build my first diorama with rocks and wire tree. I don’t want to buy anything from sites for modeling so i’m trying to find any object that can help me in this project. I went to hardware store and look at things in a different way. The main rock is made with three layers of high density polystyrene that i covered with plaster than i painted with some colors. The tree is made of wire and covered with paper-mache than painted with acrylic colors. If you want a detailed tutorial on some of these elements please let me know writing a comment below!
I think that adding some flock gives much more realism to the rock don’t you think?
I really don’t know what kind of beast those bones belong to :D. They are made of white Fimo paste. I know that i can improve, if you have any suggestion please let me know and fell free to write a comment.
